The Ummah Giving Circle is a NY based philanthropic sisterhood that pools their knowledge and resources for the purpose of providing aid to mutually agreeable causes. What initially started out as a group of friends giving charity every month, has grown to over a 100 women helping those in need.

UGC supports a diversity of causes such as local ones like single moms or domestic violence victims to international causes to help those in need.

UGC tries to find solutions that are long term and sustainable for those in need.

Examples:

1. DV sister recently moved to shelter – UGC will help them find a job, lawyer to advocate for them, and enough basic resources till welfare services get approved.

2. Orphans in Nigeria – UGC will help pay for the education and training so it is not just about feeding them but also teaching them to be independent

NOTE – Every single dollar is given to the direct need – MCC & UGC do not take any admin fees.

The Goal is for every person to give without even realizing like the beloved Hadith –

The Prophet Mohammad said that one of the seven groups of people that will be granted shade on the Day of Judgment includes the one who gives charity but hides it, so that even his left hand does not know what his right hand has spent.
